In the midst of the holiday hustle and bustle, it has been such a refreshing break to meet up with our dear friends, Jennie and Zane, for an autumn session. They also brought their adopted greyhound, Finley, who is quite the model himself! Jennie and Zane spend much of their free time pouring into the lives of others by leading bible study groups and volunteering at church. We are honored to count them as our friends!
My favorite Los Angeles film photographer, Carol Ly, came to town for the WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) conference and we got to bond over food and photography- two of my favorite pastimes. Going to WPPI was like drinking from a fire hydrant- any and all the information you would ever care to know about the photography industry was jam-packed into a week full of lectures and presentations. It was so refreshing being able to share the ins-and-outs of running a photography business with other photographers. This conference has stretched, challenged, and encouraged me to refine my work and mentality. Although I am mentally exhausted, I am so excited to see where QLP is headed!
