If mother nature were to conspire against a couple on their wedding day, this would be how she’d do it. The ceremony was originally scheduled for sunset on the beach but raging rain and angry hurricane winds altered the plan. Still, nothing could dampen Heather and Jim’s wedding festivities. The news headlines described the torrential rainfall the ‘storm of the century’, but the couple remained unshaken, even after learning that some of their vendors were unable/unwilling to brave the flooded streets.
As former colleagues, I can testify from personal experience that Heather is amazing. Its not just that she totally rocks at her job or that she can beast a full marathon in the time it takes most people to run a half; all I can say is that Jim is one lucky guy! That being said, Jim is awesome as well: he jumped straight to medical school after completing a two year stint with the Peace Corps. These two are a textbook example of a ‘power couple’, and we are so glad we were there to celebrate with them.
Heather & Jim- we love you both! May your journey ahead be filled with clear and beautiful skies!
