My eastbound journey back to North Carolina was made so much sweeter with this lovely couple. I know Juli and Carlo from church and we have had quite a handful of adventures and memories together! We were so fortunate to have been able to squeeze this session in in-between angry rain bursts. Juli and Carlo- you two are such a sincere, genuine couple and I know big things await the both of you on the other side of marriage. I cannot wait to see how your love story will continue to unfold!
Thank you, lovely blogs, for featuring our work. We are so delighted and honored!
Also, a huge thank you to our lovely, creative QL brides for putting so much thought and effort into your big day!
We simply love Kemi & Terrell. This power couple serves at Forest Hill church on the worship team. Kemi is a super sweet vocalist and Terrell is a keyboard prodigy. We could not have asked for a nicer, more easy going couple to photograph. Their genuine and Godly love for each other is such a joy to behold, and we cherished the opportunity to play a small part in their celebration.
Kemi and Terrell, it was our honor to help celebrate your wedding day. We are so encouraged by your example of love and devotion and we can’t wait to witness the many ways your new household will bless the lives of others!

Sylvia and Eric blew us away with their beautiful wedding- it was a photographer’s paradise! From the beauty of historic and charming Stowe Manor to the gorgeous streaming light from this picture-perfect day, they planned a fairy tale wedding of their own. Probably due in no small part to the fact that Sylvia is, herself, a fantastic planner and photographer in her own right, Sylvia and Eric’s wedding was extremely well orchestrated and saturated with elegant details, colors, and fantastic balance of style, fashion and Southern charm.
As a testament to this lovely couple’s magnetic and outgoing personality, they had a bridal party of eighteen wonderful bridesmaids and groomsmen. From beginning to end, the day was marked with reminders of the loving relationships and friendships that Sylvia and Eric had built. To sum up the spirit of the day, Sylvia noted, “if, at the end of the day, you’re married to the person you love, then that is all that matters!” What encouraging words for all soon-to-be married couples!
We are so thankful to have been a part of the celebrations and to see this lovely couple get hitched! Sylvia and Eric, we wish you much happiness in your marriage!

We scheduled Becca, Jonathan, and Coco (the fluffy ball of joy) for a 7:30am session in hopes of catching a golden sunrise. Though the sun did not make an appearance for the shoot, we were surrounded by dreamy layers of fog. Regardless, the couple agreed to wake up early on their day off, braved the hour commute to our South Carolina location, and so willingly trekked through dew drenched grass at our bidding- they are the very definition of amazing!
Becca & Jonathan- you two are so much fun! We cannot wait for your wedding next June! Also, we cannot end this post without a huge shout-out to Sam, the dog whisperer. Thank you for watching Coco during the session!
