There is little else I would rather do than spend all my time playing and cuddling with my nephews. They are so irresistibly cute, you just want to squeeze them until they pop (is that morbid?). I wish we lived closer together so I can see this beautiful family grow-up. Rest assured, we are sending buckets of love from Vegas!
We have to admit that shooting senior sessions make us insanely happy and is our absolute favorite type of lifestyle portraiture to photograph. Maybe it’s because we wish we were back in high school ourselves. But enough about us! We had such a wonderful time photographing Chanelle’s senior session! Her choice of venues show both the rustic and the glitzy sides of Las Vegas and reflect the true Las Vegan in this girl. Chanelle- you are such a beautiful person! We love your amazing spirit, and we can’t wait to see all that you will accomplish in the future! Remember us when you’re famous and swimming in your pool full of Louboutins!
My favorite Los Angeles film photographer, Carol Ly, came to town for the WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) conference and we got to bond over food and photography- two of my favorite pastimes. Going to WPPI was like drinking from a fire hydrant- any and all the information you would ever care to know about the photography industry was jam-packed into a week full of lectures and presentations. It was so refreshing being able to share the ins-and-outs of running a photography business with other photographers. This conference has stretched, challenged, and encouraged me to refine my work and mentality. Although I am mentally exhausted, I am so excited to see where QLP is headed!
I spent my last weekend in NC with the family in Asheville. Nothing beats the Carolina mountains, this beautiful fall weather, and good company! Since I promised my lovely sister these photos before my westward trek, I’m squeezing in this post right before I pack away my desktop. Isn’t my nephew SO CUTE?! See you in Vegas!
This stud muffin is now 5 months old and growing like a weed! My sisters and Ethan came over this weekend for some serious wedding planning. In between a fabulous cake taste testing and discussions of bridesmaids dresses, I was able to catch some alone time with little man and his momma. Look at those Michelin rolls!
