Happy new year, friends! We hope your 2019 is off to a strong, solid start.
We are thrilled to share that our Machu Picchu shot from our trip 3 years ago has been featured, in print, in February’s issue of Harpers Bazaar UK. Go grab a copy and admire all the beautiful work that went into this stunning issue.
This post is a product review based on our collaboration with Sleeklens. Opinions are solely our own.
How photos are post produced can completely change the style of your business. While there are a lot of options for photo editing products on the market, we were quite impressed with the tools Sleeklens provided.
Sleeklens’ “Forever Thine Wedding Workflow” Lightroom brushes gave us the ability to easily target areas on an image in need of attention. We were particularly fond of the over/underexposure correction brushes for sessions captured in the harsh noon sun. While we strive to shoot during “golden hours” (sunrise and sunset), it’s difficult convincing clients to wake up/stay up for a 6am/8pm shoot during long PNW summer hours.
Sleeklen’s “Forever Thine Wedding Workflow” Lightroom presets gave us the magic to turn any image into a dream. We were quite attached to the Camellia preset because we’re fond of the vintage feel. Some other favorites include the New Tone and Soft Dream presets. Layer these bases with a one of their beautiful matte presets and then you’ll truly have a swoon-worthy image.
We are incredibly delighted to let you know that we have partnered with Flytographer as one of their Vegas destination photographers. This Canadian based company is such a great resource to travelers, near and far. We are encouraged to be working with our new global photography family as well as the inspiring staff at Flytographer. Cheers to new adventures and friendships!
Thank you, Carol, for our headshot photo. Your beautiful work continues to inspire us!
