We had the honor of seeing Annie and Andrew’s relationship blossom over time. When Andrew popped the big question, we could not have been happier for this couple. We captured their engagement against the hilly backdrop of Monterey Park and were able to chase the last rays of the day.
Congratulations, Annie & Andrew! We cannot wait to witness where your grand adventure will lead.
This post is a product review based on our collaboration with Sleeklens. Opinions are solely our own.
How photos are post produced can completely change the style of your business. While there are a lot of options for photo editing products on the market, we were quite impressed with the tools Sleeklens provided.
Sleeklens’ “Forever Thine Wedding Workflow” Lightroom brushes gave us the ability to easily target areas on an image in need of attention. We were particularly fond of the over/underexposure correction brushes for sessions captured in the harsh noon sun. While we strive to shoot during “golden hours” (sunrise and sunset), it’s difficult convincing clients to wake up/stay up for a 6am/8pm shoot during long PNW summer hours.
Sleeklen’s “Forever Thine Wedding Workflow” Lightroom presets gave us the magic to turn any image into a dream. We were quite attached to the Camellia preset because we’re fond of the vintage feel. Some other favorites include the New Tone and Soft Dream presets. Layer these bases with a one of their beautiful matte presets and then you’ll truly have a swoon-worthy image.
This cute little family was game for an early morning shoot, so that’s what we did. We hit up Burnside Bridge early Saturday morning and strolled alongside the Willamette river. We had to skillfully dodge avid cyclists and runners but we ultimately came out unscathed (whew!).
This family made my first shoot in Portland was quite a joyous one and I’m thankful for the opportunity to work in such a breathtaking city.
Thank you, lovely Jackson’s, for waking up super early and letting us photograph your adorable family. Jake was such a trooper with handling this Vegas summer heat and hiking in sandals! We loved seeing how much joy you give each other and are grateful to be able to capture this moment with you. Cheers to many more years of happiness together!
Visiting India felt like coming home. Something about the land feels faintly familiar, as if i’ve lived here in a past life.
The bestie and I journeyed through 5 states, 6 cities in 10 days. We went from the mountains to the ocean and to seemingly everything in between; each city was more spectacular than the previous one. We made new friends and collected new stories. But most importantly, we started and ended the trip with family. And, oh, what a beautiful thing family is!
